Alice Sophia Reynolds
April 4th 1957 22 (about to be 23)
1975 Ravenclaw
Order member, field Auror trainee and strategist for the Ministry of Magic
Boggart: Her brother’s dead.
Patronus: Peregrine Hawk

Alice is a nice girl though quite sheltered. She tends to priss about when she's nervous but she's certainly not afraid to roll up her sleeves and get messy. To look at her you wouldn't think her to be much of a tomboy but there's a reason she became an Auror and it wasn't just because she liked the stationary letterhead. She's fairly perky without being overbearing and regardless of the situation she tends to be very optimistic. Alice is more often quiet than not, preferring to observe as she feels she learns more this way. Her sense of humor is rather corny and she enjoys stupid jokes and dumb romantic sayings entirely too much. All of this changes if you actually piss her off. She's very stubborn in a deceptive way, doing her best to always look like she's conforming even if secretly she's saying fuck you under her breath.

She’s very calm in tense situations which makes her dependable, is a perfectionist in her work, is very charming.
Doesn’t like being told what to do, gets a little too competitive at times, can be too trusting.
Straight as an arrow..and Engaged

Being the oldest and only girl in the family had good things and bad. On the good side, she never had to deal with hand me downs. On the bad, she never had a moment pass that she wasn't told how much she influenced her little brothers. Because of this, Alice has always carefully thought through all her decisions, hence enjoying chess. Her parents own and run a very reputable dress shoppe in the center of London and she and her three brothers grew up just outside London in a quaint little wizarding village. Some of her first and best memories are of running through rooms with rolls of silk and wool to hide in. Her mother wanted so badly for Alice to continue the family trade and encouraged it for many years before realizing that her daughter never would be good with a needle and thread.
Alice didn’t tell anyone when she applied to be an Auror. She figured it was something best to save until she knew if she had been accepted to the programme or not. She received the official admittance form shortly before Christmas of her 7th year and after much deliberation, announced on Christmas Eve to her family that she was joining the Ministry of Magic. Her father was angry more because he was scared and her mother simply vanished to her room to cry. It was several days before the topic was discussed again and they tried to dissuade her from the decision. By the time she left to return to school they had finally accepted that her decision. When Alice makes up her mind she’s not going back.

The oldest Ian is only a year younger than she and is in the Auror training class as well, something her parents blame her for. Royal is 17 and plays quidditch for Hufflepuff, he will be graduating come May and has been bothering Alice to let him come live with her until he figures out what he wants to do. The youngest, Martin just started his 3rd year at Hogwarts and is Ravenclaw as well. Out of all the siblings Martin is probably the most like Alice.

Journal Sample (two paragraphs minimum):
Why does he have to be so ridiculous? It’s just a small mission, I probably won’t even see any action and even if I do I’m completely qualified. I know he just wants to protect me but we aren’t school children anymore and he’s had three years to get used to the fact that I chose the same profession he did. I’m scared too. I’m not stupid enough to not be afraid but at the same time that fear isn’t enough to keep me from doing what I think is right! We’ve discussed the order. It always ends up being another fight. I’m winning it right now but I don’t know for how long. He says it’s too dangerous and maybe he’s right but if he’s in it then so am I. I said till death do us part and I’ll be damned if I’m going to sit at home and wait while he goes off and saves the world. Would be awfully boring don’t you think?
He’s been on so many missions; I don’t think he quite understands that I worry about him just as much as he does about me. Yes I know he’s done this longer and he seems to be a complete natural at it but that doesn’t help. To most of the world he’s a hero, the saving grace but to me…well to me he’s my lover, my best friend and it’s hard to watch him leave not knowing if I’m going to see him again.

RP Sample: “ALI! ALI WAIT UP.”
Alice was beyond lost in her own world, carefully carrying a stack of mission requests towards the main corridor for the Auror department. It took several moments for her to realize someone was calling out her name and Alice turned with her eyebrows slightly furrowed. “Hi Ian.” She couldn’t keep the warmth out of her voice as she looked at her younger brother. Another year he too would join what had become the family profession. Her mother still hadn’t forgiven her for it. She wrinkled her nose as he moved to hug her, quickly scooting back. “You’re all sweaty and gross, what were you in? Field training?”

He simply gave a nod and then threatened to hug her again with a laugh. “So do you think Royal can come stay with you for part of the up coming break? He owled me about it, wanted me to ask you.” Alice just rolled her eyes. It figured. He was too chicken to ask her straight out. “You know I’m not the deciding factor on that,” she reminded Ian and then just shook her head before starting back on her way. “Tell him I’ll talk to Frank and Ian don’t forget Mum is expecting us for dinner tonight.” She gave her brother one last grin before stepping into an office on her left.
